As a physiotherapist, Jessica uses her in-depth knowledge of how the human body works, combined with a variety of clinical skills, to address your musculoskeletal concerns, assisting you towards achieving your optimal physical self.

Jessica Fowler Physiotherapy can treat a variety of musculoskeletal complaints, throughout the lifespan, including:

Work based pain, injury and/or discomfort

Private or ACC

Jessica works with both private and ACC clients. She is ACC registered and can lodge and treat claims under ACC.

You can self-refer to physiotherapy, without the need for a doctor or specialist referral.

​

Jessica does both clinic based and Telehealth physiotherapy.

About Jessica

Jessica Fowler (nee Satherley) graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 2011. She initially worked in Christchurch prior to returning to her home town in the Tasman region in 2012. Jessica has worked locally within the Nelson/Tasman region since then and in a variety of areas such as the clinic, aged care, community, gym and vocational settings.

 

Jessica has a background in Sport and Exercise Science prior to her physiotherapy career, gaining a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Sport and Exercise Science and Physiology from Massey University in 2008. 

 

Jessica has also completed many Physiotherapy post-graduate qualifications, some of which include:

  • Post Graduate Certificate in Rehabilitation from the Auckland University of Technology (AUT)

  • Credentialed McKenzie therapist

  • Certified pilates mat instructor

  • EPIC lift assessor

  • GLA:D OA trainer

She has also completed courses in:

  • Exercise rehabilitation

  • Manual therapy

  • Chronic pain and many other areas

 

Jessica has varied interests, predominantly in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, including pre and post operative rehabilitation, exercise and injury rehabilitation.
